This site does not use cookies, analytics, tracking, advertising or contact forms. Fonts and the promo video are served from this site itself, not from third parties.

Hosting and server logs

The site is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA, so your data is processed in the USA and other countries where Vercel operates. When you open a page, the server processes your IP address, the time of the request, the requested file and the browser's user agent. This is technically necessary to deliver the site and keep it secure (legitimate interest). Vercel handles this data under its own privacy policy.

The Download buttons link to GitHub (GitHub, Inc., 88 Colin P. Kelly Jr. Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). If you click one, you leave this site and GitHub processes your data under its ownprivacy statement. Nothing is sent to GitHub until you click.

The Snipy app

Snipy works entirely on your device. It copies the text you select to your local clipboard and does not send it, or any other data, over the network. The app has no telemetry, accounts or analytics.

Your rights

Under the FADP you can ask what data is held about you, and have it corrected or deleted. You can also complain to the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC). If you visit from the EU, the rights under the GDPR apply as well. Contact: see the Impressum.
